Let's start at the very beginning. There was an explosion; and in the midst of the hot gases that were expelled with a force more powerful than you can imagine, the very essence of the universe was created. Nothing interesting* happens for the next 13.813 billion years, give or take 38 million years or so. Also factor in the few seconds it took to read this, which is nominal in the grand scheme of things but could mean a great deal given the complex relationship between productivity and time available in a given day, which is unique to each person reading this. Problem is now I have gone into a lengthy explanation explaining how a lengthy explanation is both no time at all and too long to bother with and you will have to facter that into your calculation as well. Perhaps I've gone too far back. Let me start again...
My name is Brady Harkonen. I am twenty something years old (I say this not out of ambiguity, but so I don't have to edit this year after year). I began my journey into the world of self expression as a writer. In my later years of high school, however, I joined a film production class and found I was rather good at it. At the same time I got into graphic design and found I was rather shit at it, but at least I was having fun. With film however, I found I was required to interact with people. You'll find I'm a bit of an introvert. I started to realise that I could bring the fictional characters I had created in my stories into a visual space through vector art. Now if you know anything about vector art you'll know that the more complex things only look good if you know what you're doing. I had impressed myself at the time but looking back I can only put my head in my hands and say, "What was I thinking?"
It wasn't until I joined Confederation College's Interactive Media Arts program when I really got a good exposure to creating art that moved AKA animation. I also realised that I like a good challenge and often take the brute force approach, hammering away at something until it works. Through that process I learned that if you use a chisel with that hammer you can create some truly beautiful things. Some further notes about me; in my spare time I am an amature photographer. I am halfway decent at coding. I am an insomniac. I'm sometimes athletic. I am a world class gamer. I design crazy things. I am heir to an inter-galactic spice empire. I've run out of things to say now so make up a few in your head, that'll work right?
*On the contrary some very interesting (yet very remote) stuff may have/probably did happen. There could be thriving intergalactic civilizations hundreds of billions of lightyears away that we will never see/know/contact because the expanding universe makes it literally impossible (given our current knowledge of the physics revolving around the expanding space between galaxies and the theoretical maximum speed of travel).
